Cozy Cabins
Cabins with Fireplaces in Hocking Hills
Nothing beats a fire after a day on the trails. Our newer-style cabins feature a double-sided wood-burning fireplace you can see from the bed. The original-style cabins have gas fireplaces tied to the wall thermostat for easy warmth. All cabins also have outdoor fire pits for evening campfires.
The double-sided fireplaces in our newer cabins are a real highlight. You can watch the flames from the living area and from the bedroom. They burn real wood, so the cabin fills with that campfire smell that makes a forest getaway feel complete. We sell firewood bundles as an add-on if you do not want to bring your own. The gas fireplaces in the original-style cabins are easier to run. They work off the wall thermostat, so turn the heat up a few degrees and the fire lights once the cabin calls for it.
Outside, every cabin has a fire pit where you can roast marshmallows or just sit around the flames after dark. Between the indoor fireplace, the outdoor fire pit, and the private hot tub, you have three ways to stay warm on even the coldest Hocking Hills nights.
